How quickly can I get back to my normal routine?

Most patients are back to their normal day within two days. You start on softer foods and work back to everything else as you heal.

Is the procedure going to hurt?

Local anesthetic keeps you comfortable through the procedure, and sedation is available if you would rather not be alert for it. Most patients tell us afterwards that they had braced for worse.

What are the implants actually made from?

We work with two main materials: Acrylic and Zirconia. For most patients, we recommend Zirconia. It is stronger, more durable, and looks more like a real tooth. We will walk you through both options at your consult so you can choose with confidence.

Will I be awake for it?

That is completely up to you. Many patients go through the procedure with just local anesthetic and feel totally fine. For those who want to feel more relaxed or sedated, we have options available. We will talk through what works best for you at your consult.

How precise is the fit going to be?

Dr. Gjelaj maps your jaw on a 3D scan before she places anything, so the fit and the bite are planned against your own anatomy rather than adjusted afterwards.

How long do dental implants last?

Brush, floss and keep your checkups, and implants are built to last decades. Trinity also offers an optional 6-year portable warranty through a third-party partner, which is a service warranty rather than insurance.

Will they actually look like real teeth?

Yes. Shade, shape and position are matched to your face during smile design, so most people will not know unless you tell them.

What if my teeth or gums are already in rough shape?

Failing teeth, bone loss and gum disease are routine here. Dr. Gjelaj has placed over 10,000 implants. Your consult is where she scans what you have and builds the plan around it.

How do I take care of them once they are in?

Brush twice a day, floss, and come in for checkups. No adhesives and nothing to take out at night.
